Diagnosis
The power circuit is not completing. The primary cause is a failed thermal fuse inside the power pod.
How to Fix It
1. Unplug the vacuum. Remove the wand and any attachments.
2. Tip the vacuum back and locate the power pod housing on the handle.
3. Remove the screws securing the plastic cover of the power pod.
4. Locate the small, white, rectangular thermal fuse near the main power switch.
5. Test it for continuity with a multimeter. No continuity means it's blown.
6. Replace it with an identical thermal fuse (commonly 15A, 250V, 120°C).
If That Didn't Work
Check the wiring harness from the power pod to the base. Look for any crimped, cut, or loose wire connections where the handle pivots.
Heads Up
The thermal fuse is a safety device. If the new one blows again quickly, there is a deeper electrical fault causing overheating.
