Diagnosis
The path is blocked post-motor. The common failure point is the corrugated flex hose connecting the base to the pod.
How to Fix It
1. Remove the dust cup and filter. Check for obvious clogs.
2. Lay the vacuum on its back. Locate the gray flex hose connecting the base assembly to the main body.
3. Detach the hose at both ends by releasing the plastic retaining clips.
4. Inspect the entire length of the hose for internal tears or large debris blockages.
5. Clear any obstruction. If torn, the hose assembly must be replaced.
If That Didn't Work
The suction loss could be at the brushroll chamber seal. Remove the bottom cover and check the foam gasket surrounding the brushroll chamber. Replace if compressed or missing.
Heads Up
Always turn off and unplug the vacuum before checking or replacing the flex hose to avoid accidental activation.
