Diagnosis
Bio-film buildup in the detergent drawer, rubber door gasket, and internal drain lines. This model's sealed system traps moisture.
How to Fix It
Execute a full cleaning regimen. First, run the Tub Clean cycle at 95°C (203°F) with a washing machine cleaner or two cups of bleach. Wipe the entire door gasket, including the inner lip, with a 10% bleach solution. Remove the detergent drawer and soak it in hot water.
If That Didn't Work
Leave the door and detergent drawer open after every single wash to allow complete drying. This is non-negotiable for preventing recurrence.
Heads Up
Using more than two tablespoons of high-efficiency detergent per load contributes directly to biofilm. Excess soap does not rinse out.
