First, empty and clean the bin. Performance drops if it's overfilled or the filter is dirty.
FIX:
- Empty the bin immediately if dirt is at the top mark. Remove the wand, hold over a trash can, and pull the bin release catch up to open the base.
- Wash the filters. Remove the Pre-filter from the top of the cyclone and the Post-filter from the back by twisting it off. Wash each under cold running water until the water runs clear. Shake out excess water.
- Dry both filters for at least 24 hours in a warm, ventilated place. They must be completely dry before reinserting.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Check for a full blockage. The motor pulses if blocked. Disconnect from power, let it cool, and inspect the cyclones, wand ends, and cleaner head inlet. Clear any debris.
HEADS UP: You may need to clean the filter more often if you run the machine with a full bin. Never use the machine with a damp filter—it can cause damage.
