Unplug the vacuum and let it cool. Remove the cleaner head and extract the brush bar.

1. Lay the machine on its back. Push the red button on the bottom of the ball and slide the cleaner head off.
2. On the back of the Motorbar head, press the brush bar release button and push the end cap upwards 90 degrees.
3. Pull the brush bar straight out. Remove all hair, thread, and debris from around it.

Reassembly is critical. Push the brush bar firmly all the way back in. Rotate the end cap until it clicks locked. Slide the cleaner head onto the front of the ball and push up until the red button clicks.

If the brush bar still doesn't spin freely after cleaning, a deeper obstruction may require checking the motor housing—but that's less common. Regular clearing prevents this.
