Diagnosis
The robot's bumper or sensors are contacting the couch frame, triggering obstacle detection and causing a retreat loop. The clearance is too tight.
How to Fix It
Use No-Go Zones in the SmartThings App. Map your home first. Then, draw a virtual barrier (No-Go Zone) on the map across the front edge of the couch to prevent approach.
If That Didn't Work
Increase the obstacle detection sensitivity. In the app, go to Robot Settings > Object Recognition Sensitivity and set it to 'Low'. This may reduce false triggers on furniture legs.
Heads Up
Do not rely on physical magnetic boundary strips. The Bespoke Jet uses LiDAR and AI for navigation; magnetic strips are ignored.
