DIAGNOSIS The door switch actuator is either faulty or misaligned, or the LED bulb has failed. The switch is a small plastic plunger in the door frame.
FIX Unplug the unit. Locate the door switch on the inner right-side frame. Press and release the plunger several times to check for free movement. Manually hold the plunger in while plugging the unit back in. If the light turns on with the plunger held, the door is not depressing it fully.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The LED assembly is likely faulty. Access requires removing interior trim pieces. Since it's a sealed unit, replacement involves ordering the specific light assembly part from the manufacturer.
HEADS UP The light circuit is separate from the cooling circuit. A non-functional light does not impact refrigeration performance. Attempting to install an incompatible bulb can short the low-voltage control board.
