Diagnosis
The display shows LE (Leak Error). The leak sensor in the base pan has detected water. This triggers an immediate stop to the cycle.
How to Fix It
First, check for actual leaks. Remove the lower access panel (two screws at the bottom front). Inspect the base pan for standing water. Dry it completely with towels. Check supply line, drain hose, and door gasket for obvious leaks. Second, reset the error. Turn off power at the breaker for 5 minutes. Restore power. The LE code should clear.
If That Didn't Work
The leak sensor itself may be faulty or the wire harness connector may be corroded, sending a false signal. The sensor is a small plastic module located in the base pan.
Heads Up
An LE error will often be accompanied by a PF code after a power reset. Clear the PF code as described in its own procedure after addressing the leak.
