Diagnosis
This is almost always an installation/power supply issue, not a machine failure. The door latch or power connection isn't complete.
How to Fix It
Check the door latch engagement first.
- Ensure the door is firmly closed until it clicks. The control panel is disabled if the door switch isn't triggered.
- If that's good, verify the power cable is fully plugged into the junction box behind the kickplate and the wire nuts are tight.
If That Didn't Work
The thermal fuse on the control board may have blown during installation. This requires removing the toe kick panel and checking for continuity on the small, white rectangular fuse on the main board—if it's blown, the board needs service.
Heads Up
Never rely on just the wall switch or breaker. For any electrical diagnosis, you must physically turn the circuit breaker OFF and back ON to ensure a full reset.
