Diagnosis
Standing water in the tub after a cycle. This is a drain system obstruction or pump failure.
How to Fix It
First, check for a clog in the drain hose. Disconnect power. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink drain or garbage disposal. Check for kinks and clear any debris. Second, check the drain pump. Remove the filter assembly and inspect the sump for large debris obstructing the pump impeller.
If That Didn't Work
The drain pump motor may have failed. You can test it. Enter diagnostic mode (press Soil Level and Power for 3 seconds). Navigate to the drain test (code d1) using the Cycle Select button. Press Start. If you do not hear the drain pump run, the motor or its wiring is faulty.
Heads Up
Never use drain cleaning chemicals like Drano. They can damage the plastic tub and seals. Use only manual removal or a wet/dry vacuum to clear clogs from the hose.
