Diagnosis
The display shows PF (Power Failure). The control board detected a power interruption during a cycle.
How to Fix It
Clear the PF code. Press and hold the Cycle Select button for 3 seconds. The PF display should clear. Select a new cycle and press Start. The dishwasher will reset and should operate normally.
If That Didn't Work
The power interruption may have caused a lockout. Perform a hard reset. Turn off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher at your home's main electrical panel for 1 full minute. Turn it back on. This clears the control board memory. The PF code should be gone.
Heads Up
Frequent PF codes indicate an unstable power supply or a faulty control board. If it recurs without a home power outage, the control board may need replacement.
