Diagnosis
The water pump in the dock's clean water tank isn't dispensing enough water to the robot's internal reservoir, or the mop pad material is clogged with residue.
How to Fix It
- Remove and rinse the mop pads under warm water. Soak them in a mix of warm water and a little vinegar for 30 minutes to dissolve detergent or hard water buildup, then wring out and reattach.
- In the Dreame app, go to the mopping settings. Increase the 'Water Flow' level to High or Max. The default is often too low.
- Ensure the clean water tank in the dock is filled to the MAX line and properly seated. Listen for a faint pumping sound when the robot docks to refill water.
If That Didn't Work
The water intake valve on the robot (where it connects to the dock) might be clogged. Power off the robot, use a toothpick to gently clear the small rubber port on its backside, and check the corresponding nozzle on the dock.
Heads Up
Using too much cleaning solution or the wrong type can gum up the entire water system. Use only Dreame-recommended solutions or plain water. Hard water areas will require more frequent pad soaking and system flushes with vinegar.
