the mop pads on my q revo maxv aren't getting wet or leaving any streaks, it's just dragging dry cloths

— asked by Alex

Quick answer: The water pump isn't delivering water to the mop pads, or your moisture setting is turned off.

Diagnosis

The water pump isn't delivering water to the mop pads, or your moisture setting is turned off.

How to Fix It

  • In the Roborock app, go to the cleaning settings for your map/room. Ensure the 'Water Flow' setting is NOT on 'Off'. Use 'Low' for sealed floors, 'High' for tiles.
  • Remove the water tank from the dock. Shake it gently and listen for water sloshing. Refill it with clean tap water if low.
  • Re-seat the tank firmly in the dock until you hear the dock's pump engage (a brief whirring sound).

If That Didn't Work

The internal tubing or pump in the dock base might be clogged with mineral deposits. Use a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% water in the tank, run a mopping-only cycle in a small area, then flush thoroughly with clean water.

Heads Up

Always use the official cleaning solution or plain water. Thick aftermarket solutions or detergents will clog the system permanently.
